Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for Consultant Psychiatrist for Adult Services for a private hospital based in Norwich.
Experience:
You will hold a CCST / CCT (or equivalent) in the relevant areas of Psychiatry and will have experience of working in inpatient and outpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our permanent team full time. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping patient care and contributing to the ongoing success of our service.Responsibilities:
- Taking clinical responsibility for your patients, including leading multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessment and management, Responsible Clinician duties, including Mental Health Act report writing and Tribunal attendance.
- The development of a therapeutic milieu.
- Provide expert psychiatric assessments and treatment for a diverse patient population.
- Lead and manage patient care within your specialty, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff.
- Engaging with referring Trusts and community teams proactively.
- Facilitating families’ involvement in the care of their loved ones using technology and your excellent interpersonal skills
- Engage in clinical governance and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in out of hours on-call rotations, ensuring continuous high-quality care.
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders and maintain a network of professional contacts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.
