We’re Hiring: ADOS Clinicians (HCPC Registered) – Cheltenham

Location: Cheltenham – In Clinic
Working Pattern: Flexible Hours (Face-to-Face)
Pay Rate: £125 per assessment (Limited Company – Outside IR35)
Contract Type: Network Flexi
Team Function: Independent Clinical Network
Availability: 7 days a week

About the Role

Staff Partners Mental Health is expanding our Independent Clinical Network and we’re looking for experienced, compassionate clinicians to join us in delivering high-quality ADOS assessments for children and young people in Cheltenham.
This opportunity is ideal for HCPC-registered professionals who are passionate about neurodevelopmental care and looking for flexible, meaningful sessional work. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess and support children, young people, and their families through the diagnostic process.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from HCPC-registered clinicians from the following professional backgrounds:

  • Clinical Psychologist

  • Counselling Psychologist

  • Educational Psychologist

  • Speech and Language Therapist

  • Occupational Therapist

Essential Requirements:

  • ADOS-2 certification

  • Strong clinical experience in neurodevelopmental assessments

  • Experience with all ADOS modules (BOSA experience is desirable)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High-quality report writing with timely turnaround

  • Flexibility to work across various clinic settings, days, and times

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ADOS assessments for children and young people as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals

  • Produce detailed clinical reports in line with service timeframes

  • Maintain high professional and ethical standards in all clinical work

  • Contribute to a child and family-centred approach throughout the assessment journey

Additional Information

  • DNA Appointments: If a client does not attend their scheduled appointment, the full sessional fee is still claimable

  • Travel Expenses: Mileage claimable at 45p per mile after the first 40 miles, up to a maximum of 90 miles

  • Accommodation: Up to £80 per night claimable where overnight stays are required
