Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS to work within an NHS service in Isle of Wight starting ASAP with 2 years’ experience in CAMHS specialty.
Job Description:
This role is a full-time Locum position based in Isle of Wight. You will be working in an CAMHS service for patients with mental illness.
Key responsibilities:- Undertake assessment and management of CYP presenting with complex mental health difficulties
- Provide MDT consultation and support to ensure children and y preferred to the service receive quality clinical care
- Support crisis team (IROR) with urgent assessments as necessary
- Liaise with partner agencies and other professionals as necessary
- Work with the other team psychiatrists to ensure adequate psychiatric cover is available for the team
- Provide clinical supervision to resident doctors, SAS doctors and MDT as needed
Job Requirements:
- GMC with a licence to practise
- Approved Clinician status
- Section 12 approval
- MBSS qualification
