Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Deputy Manager for an established private hospital based in Cardiff.
Job Description:
This role is a full-time permanent position.
The unit includes a variety of facilities, such as three secure gardens, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, patient practice kitchens, a patient social area, art rooms and dedicated support service areas. The service is currently being developed to provide bespoke treatment packages for a variety of patients with complex mental health needs. The unit will provide a modern, homely environment promoting independence, whilst employing an experienced multi-disciplinary team to oversee and support patient progress.Responsibilities:
- Have clinical and leadership experience that provides the expertise and confidence required to support the wider nursing team.
- Be able to respond flexibly to change and the developing needs of the service.
- Be responsible for deputising in the absence of the ward manager if necessary and therefore must demonstrate a willingness to develop and expand on their existing roles and responsibilities.
- Be role models for their peers and demonstrate core priory values at all times therefore the expectations of this will need to be clearly set out.
Knowledge / Education / Skills:
- Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN with 2 years post-qualifying experience.
- Relevant clinical experience.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
