Speech & Language Therapist – Lancaster, Lancashire
Location: Lancaster, Lancashire
Salary: £36,507 – £44,103 (including paid school holidays)
Contract: Permanent (Maternity Cover) | Full-time

Staff Partners is proud to partner with an outstanding independent day school setting in Lancaster to recruit a permanent Speech & Language Therapist on a maternity cover contract.
You’ll work with children and young people with a range of complex needs including autism, ADHD, sensory processing issues, speech and language difficulties, SEMH needs, and developmental trauma. Your work will help unlock their full potential — one meaningful interaction at a time.

What You’ll Do?

• Deliver therapeutic interventions based on individual assessments
• Collaborate with teaching, care, and clinical colleagues to ensure joined-up support
• Provide training and guidance to staff on communication strategies
• Create a clinically informed and supportive learning environment
• Build trusting, consistent relationships with young people and families

What You’ll Need:

• HCPC registration as a qualified Speech & Language Therapist
• Specialist experience working with children and young people with complex needs
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Confidence in providing consultation, training, and team guidance
• A passion for supporting vulnerable children to achieve their full potential
