Speech & Language Therapist – Mitcham, Surrey
Location: Mitcham, Surrey
Salary: £41,983 – £49,717 (includes paid school holidays)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time

This exciting role is based in a specialist school setting in Mitcham, recently rated Good by Ofsted. Housed in a beautiful 18th-century building, the school supports children with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex behavioural needs.

Your Role:
As part of a strong multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will:

• Deliver evidence-based, individualised speech and language therapy
• Help shape a therapeutic, nurturing environment for young learners
• Assess and formulate personalised intervention plans
• Work closely with education and care staff to guide and support them
• Provide training and mentoring for team members
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues 

What You’ll Need:

• HCPC registration as a qualified Speech & Language Therapist
• Experience working with children/young people with complex needs
• Confidence in multidisciplinary collaboration and delivering training
• Strong communication, leadership and organisation skills
• A proactive, resilient, and compassionate approach
• A full UK driving licence (travel may be required)
• Experience in team supervision (desirable)
