Description

Are you a compassionate, dedicated individual with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people with complex health and mental health needs? We are seeking Support Workers to join our growing Complex Care team, with a particular focus on CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services).

About the Role:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you’ll provide 1:1 person-centred care to young adults in their own home. This could raise to a 2:1 in the near future.

  • Emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
  • Mental health challenges supported by CAMHS

You’ll support individuals in their own homes, helping them to thrive emotionally, physically, and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting young people with emotional regulation, routine, and behavioural strategies
  • Delivering care plans designed in collaboration with CAMHS professionals
  • Accurate documentation of care and behaviour
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing, safety, and independence

About You:

  • Experience working with children or young people, especially in mental health or behavioural support (CAMHS, SEN, or similar settings is highly desirable)
  • Compassionate, patient, and resilient
  • Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
  • Able to follow detailed care plans and behavioural guidelines
  • Valid PMVA training

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
