Join a Specialist CAMHS Team as a Clinical Psychologist – Eating Disorder Focus

Location: Roehampton Area
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Setting: Private Hospital – Inpatient Ward (CAMHS, Eating Disorder)

The Opportunity

At Staff Partners – Mental Health, we’re proud to be working with a respected private mental health hospital in the Roehampton area. We’re now looking to connect with a skilled Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people battling eating disorders.

This isn’t just another clinical job — it’s a chance to become part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team where innovation in treatment and person-centred care is at the heart of everything they do.

Your Impact

As the Clinical Psychologist on the CAMHS Eating Disorder ward, you’ll be at the core of the therapeutic process. You’ll bring clarity to complex cases, shape patient care plans, and deliver tailored psychological interventions that support sustainable recovery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out in-depth psychological assessments and diagnoses

  • Creating and delivering therapy programmes for individuals and groups

  • Supporting formulation development and contributing to MDT discussions

  • Using psychometric tools and clinical insight to inform care pathways

  • Playing a key role in helping young people rediscover their confidence and future

Who We’re Looking For

You're someone who combines empathy with expertise, and who thrives in fast-paced, emotionally rewarding environments. You’ll ideally have:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist

  • Experience working with young people and/or eating disorders (CAMHS experience is a strong advantage)

  • Confidence using a range of therapeutic models and psychological tools

  • Excellent communication skills – both with patients and across teams

  • Interest in collaborative work within a structured but dynamic clinical setting

Why This Role?

This is more than a job — it’s a career move with genuine purpose and long-term potential.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Competitive salary and full employee benefits

  • Career development pathways into senior clinical or leadership roles

  • Paid birthday leave and 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

  • Enhanced maternity pay and pension contribution

  • Free meals on site and parking

  • Flexible staff benefits – including health and tech packages

  • Access to further training, CPD, and qualifications
