About the Role:

We are hiring a Consultant Psychologist for a private mental health and rehabilitation hospital in Leeds. This 19-bed facility supports adult males with complex mental health needs, offering high-dependency recovery and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment formulations

  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions

  • Manage a clinical caseload within agreed timescales

  • Maintain accurate case notes, clinical reports, and records

  • Contribute to MDT meetings and collaborate with clinical colleagues

  • Provide clinical supervision and psychotherapeutic guidance to the team

  • Support service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (minimum) in a relevant psychological field

  • Postgraduate qualification and registration with HCPC, BPS, BABCP, BCP, or equivalent

  • Experience working in mental health or rehabilitation settings

  • Training in DBT and experience in HR20 report writing (desirable)

  • Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills

  • High level of professionalism and emotional resilience
