EMDR Therapist – Private Hospital (Oxford)

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
Employment Type: Permanent | Part-Time

About the Role

  • Opportunity to join a private hospital based in the heart of Oxford

  • Provide rapid access outpatient care for a wide range of mental health conditions

  • Support includes treatment for depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders, addictions, and neurodevelopmental conditions

  • Services include online CBT and a dedicated CAMHS program

  • Hours are flexible and will be discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver EMDR assessment, formulation, and therapy to outpatient clients

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and nurses

  • Communicate assessment and treatment plans clearly and sensitively to clients

  • Collaborate with other professionals to support holistic patient care

  • Undertake risk assessments and implement appropriate risk management strategies

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

Requirements:

  • Accredited by BACP or BABCP

  • Registered with the EMDR Association

  • Experience working in outpatient mental health settings preferred

  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to work independently and within a team
