Occupational Therapist – Private Hospital (Eating Disorders Unit)
Location: Cheadle, Greater Manchester
Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time (37.5 hours/week)

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join a specialist inpatient Eating Disorders Unit at a leading private hospital in the Stockport area. This is an exciting full-time role offering a chance to work with a compassionate multi-disciplinary team within a recovery-focused environment.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Managing and coordinating personalised treatment plans

  • Delivering OT assessments, one-to-one sessions, and therapeutic group work

  • Supporting patients in developing skills for daily living and improved mental wellbeing

  • Keeping accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes

  • Supervising junior OT staff and contributing to team development

  • Collaborating closely with nursing and clinical teams to ensure high-quality care

About You:

  • BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy

  • HCPC registered and BAOT member

  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience

  • At least 1 year in a specialised clinical area such as eating disorders, addictions, or neuro-rehab

  • Confident in delivering evidence-based interventions

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • A caring and resilient professional committed to recovery-focused care
