Addictions Therapist – Permanent Role | Private Hospital in Hayes, Bromley

Salary: £39,140 – £45,320 per annum
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Location: Hayes, Bromley (On-site)
Job Type: Permanent

We are currently supporting a reputable private hospital in Hayes, in their search for an experienced Addictions Therapist to join their dedicated and compassionate team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others through their recovery journey and wants to be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team in a modern, purpose-built facility that offers world-class treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including substance and alcohol addictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate specialist psycho-educational and relapse prevention therapy groups within the addictions service.

  • Deliver individual therapy sessions tailored to each patient’s treatment goals.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive working environment.

  • Take part in staff support groups, regular supervision, and annual appraisals.

  • Maintain excellent communication and demonstrate flexibility to meet patient needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in addiction treatment, especially using an abstinence-based 12-step approach.

  • A Level 5 Diploma in counselling and/or a relevant professional qualification in addictions.

  • Full BACP accreditation is preferred.

  • Candidates working towards BACP accreditation (within 6–12 months) will also be considered, with an adjusted salary banding of £27,810–£36,050 depending on experience.
