Pay Rate: £200 per assessment (Outside IR35)
Job Type: Ad-Hoc / FlexibleAbout the Role:
Staff Partners is currently recruiting for an experienced ADHD Specialist Nurse to join a well-established multidisciplinary team in Derbyshire on an ad-hoc basis.
This role involves delivering high-quality, face-to-face ADHD assessments across the lifespan in line with NICE guidance, CQC requirements, and NHS best practice standards.The successful candidate will work autonomously where appropriately qualified and contribute to diagnostic decision-making within a supportive MDT environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Undertake comprehensive face-to-face ADHD assessments for children, young people, and adults
Diagnose ADHD independently where qualified, or contribute to diagnosis through MDT discussion
Ensure all practice aligns with NICE ADHD guidelines and local clinical governance policies
Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation and assessment reports
Provide clear feedback and post-diagnostic advice to patients and families
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support safe and effective care
Multidisciplinary Team Support Includes:
ADHD Specialist Nurse Prescriber
Consultant Psychiatrist
Essential Criteria:
Registered Nurse (NMC)
Experience conducting ADHD assessments across the lifespan
Strong knowledge of NICE ADHD guidance
Experience working within CQC-regulated services
Ability to contribute to diagnosis independently or within an MDT
Excellent communication and clinical report-writing skills
Desirable:
Independent Prescribing qualification (V300)
Experience within NHS or private neurodevelopmental services
