Staff Partners Mental Health are currently recruiting for a Locum ST3/Registrar – Adult Psychiatry position within an NHS Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based in the Swansea area.
This is a full-time locum opportunity within a well-established CMHT service, offering regular weekday hours in a supportive multidisciplinary setting.
Role Details:
• Position: Locum ST3/Registrar – Adult Psychiatry
• Location: Swansea Area
• Setting: NHS Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract Type: Locum
• Section 12 approval desired
• Previous UK NHS experience is essentialWhat We Are Looking For:
• GMC-registered Doctor with relevant Psychiatry experience
• Previous NHS experience within Adult Mental Health services
• Experience working within CMHT settings is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
• Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Section 12 approval preferred but not essentialRoles and Responsibilities:
• Managing and reviewing patients within the Adult CMHT service
• Conducting psychiatric assessments and outpatient reviews
• Developing and reviewing care plans for service users
• Assessing and managing clinical risk appropriately
• Liaising closely with consultants, nurses, social workers, and wider MDT teams
• Providing clinical support and recommendations for ongoing patient care
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
