Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Rehabilitation Psychiatry to work within an established private hospital in West Midlands.

Job Description:
This role is a full-time permanent position based in West Midlands. The hospital is a 24 bed rehabilitation hospital for Women.
Patients may informal or detained under the mental health act with a primary diagnosis of mental illness and personality disorder with complex needs.

Key responsibilities:

Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
Active role in service and development activities
Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
Taking clinical responsibility for patients
Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
Take part in medical related audits.

Job Requirements:

GMC with a licence to practise
CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry.
Approved Clinician status
Section 12 approval
MRCPsych (Desirable)
MBSS qualification
