Description
Staff Partners are currently looking for Health Care Assistants, with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
We are currently working with a private healthcare provider who have a 13 bed specialist home for adults with neurological and acquired brain injuries. The service users may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. The site is a purpose built home and include the following:
  • Day care
  • Physiotherapy
  • Independent living training
  • Own GP if required
  • Own furniture if required
  • Close to local shops
  • Near public transport
  • Minibus or other transport
  • Wheelchair access
  • Ground floor accommodation only
  • Gardens for residents
  • Residents’ kitchenette
  • Phone point in own room/mobile
  • Television point in own room
 
I have been informed the role could be a minimum of 3 months for the right candidate. Alternatively, we can offer as many adhoc shift as you would like.

Main Duties:
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs 
  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required 
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
  •

  • Experience of working with brain injuries / Mental Health setting or with Learning Disabilities
