- Staff Partners are currently looking for Health Care Assistants, with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
We are currently working with a private healthcare provider who have a 13 bed specialist home for adults with neurological and acquired brain injuries. The service users may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. The site is a purpose built home and include the following:- Day care
- Physiotherapy
- Independent living training
- Own GP if required
- Own furniture if required
- Close to local shops
- Near public transport
- Minibus or other transport
- Wheelchair access
- Ground floor accommodation only
- Gardens for residents
- Residents’ kitchenette
- Phone point in own room/mobile
- Television point in own room
I have been informed the role could be a minimum of 3 months for the right candidate. Alternatively, we can offer as many adhoc shift as you would like.
Main Duties:- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs
- Report on medical & welfare needs as required
- Safeguard
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
- Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
- An excellent communicator & a good team player
- Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
- Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence
- Experience of working with brain injuries / Mental Health setting or with Learning Disabilities
