We are thrilled to announce the opening of a new 15-bed neurorehabilitation service in Chislehurst, dedicated to offering specialist post-acute rehabilitation, as well as management of long-term neurological conditions, for adults over the age of 18.
Through slow stream rehabilitation, we prioritise the individual needs of our residents by offering an adjusted intensity program tailored to their specific requirements. This adaptable approach ensures that residents can continue their rehabilitation journey at a pace that aligns with their current capabilities while working towards achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Our facility boasts a fully equipped therapy room, complete with a therapy kitchen and gym, providing a comprehensive range of resources to support residents in their recovery process, while the inclusion of communal living areas encourages social interaction. Furthermore, Chislehurst is conveniently situated close to local amenities with good transport links allowing residents easy access to the community.

What you'll be working:
This role is 18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with days and times to be agreed.
We understand the need for a positive work, life balance and would be happy to discuss flexible working for the right candidate.
Please note: Further hours are available at our neighbouring neurological rehabilitation services if required.
What you'll be doing:
Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
Complete assessment and clinical formulation of patients’ presentation and treatment needs
Provide evidence based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of the patients’ presentation, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary working to achieve the best outcomes
Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes
Direct and support others to carry out evidence-based psychological interventions
Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are always adhered to and that risks are continuously assessed and managed
Maintain CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and to ensure competence in relation to the administration and scoring to psychological assessments and risk assessments
Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers

What you'll have:Current HCPC registration
Experience and/or an evident and demonstrable interest in neuropsychology and/or behavioural interventions
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
