We are looking for Consultant Psychiatrist
This post sits within the clinical service unit for secure and rehabilitation services which includes 3 inpatient units and a forensic support (outreach) team.
The post holder will be the medical lead for 10 bed adult Learning Disability (including Autism) low-secure beds, with complex behaviours that challenge and Forensic/public protection considerations.
The service forms part of a Lead Provider Collaborative (PROSOPECT).
There are no outpatient commitments with this post. The service accepts specialist referral from a regional Northwest footprint, (with diagnostic confirmation), working closely with commissioner (PROSPECT/NHSE) and regional partners and internal (CWP) services.
The consultant will participate in the Consultant Psychiatrist on-call rota.
