Permanent | Part-Time (24 Hours Per Week)
Private Hospital | Chelmsford Area

Staff Partners – Mental Health Division are currently recruiting for a CBT / Integrative Therapist to join a well-established private hospital in the Chelmsford area, working with adult day patients.

This is a permanent part-time position (24 hours per week), including Saturday mornings (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) as part of the rota.

???? Salary

  • £31,930 – £39,140 FTE

  • £20,435 – £25,050 per annum (24 hours)

???? About the Service

The hospital provides private general psychiatry and addiction treatment services, supporting adults experiencing:

  • Psychosis

  • Mood disorders

  • Personality disorders

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Trauma-related conditions

You’ll be joining a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of consultant psychiatrists, specialty doctors, mental health nurses and therapists, delivering person-centred care focused on recovery and long-term wellbeing.

???? The Role

As a CBT / Integrative Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using CBT and integrative approaches

  • Assess patients and develop personalised treatment plans in collaboration with the MDT

  • Support adults presenting with a range of acute and complex mental health needs

  • Monitor progress using outcome measures and adjust interventions accordingly

  • Contribute to MDT meetings and ongoing service development

  • Support the implementation of patient care plans to promote dignity, recovery and wellbeing

This is a rewarding but dynamic role where resilience, empathy and clinical confidence are essential.

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Recognised qualification in CBT theory and practice

  • BABCP or BACP membership/accreditation

  • Experience delivering therapy within a clinical or acute mental health setting

  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team (desirable)

  • Strong communication, organisational and risk assessment skills

  • Passion for delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care
