- Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Associate Specialist in Adult Psychiatry to work within an established private hospital in Bedfordshire.
Job Description:
This role is a full-time permanent position based in an established private hospital. The hospital service provides specialist care for adults with Neurodegenerative conditions and Acquired brain injury, with a female and male care pathway requires an Associate Specialist Doctor to be part of the team providing care for service users.
Key responsibilities:
Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
Active role in service and development activities
Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
Taking clinical responsibility for patients
Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
Take part in medical related audits.
Job Requirements:- Full GMC registrationExperience working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teamsTo be in good standing with the Royal College of PsychiatristsTo have had an appraisal/RITA within the last yearAt least 3 years' experience in PsychiatryExperience working as a doctor within similar environmentMRCPsych (desirable)Section 12 (2) approval (desirable)AC status (desirable)
