- Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry to work within an established private hospital in Devon.
Job Description:
This role is a full-time permanent position based in an established private hospital.
The service is apurpose-built facility, providing specialist care for adults with acute mental health needs across two wards and eight individual flatsand requires a Consultant Psychiatrist to be part of the team and help shape the care provided.
Key responsibilities:
Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
Active role in service and development activities
Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
Taking clinical responsibility for patients
Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
Take part in medical related audits.
Job Requirements:
GMC with a licence to practise- CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry.
- Approved Clinician status
- Section 12 approval
- MRCPsych (Desirable)
- MBSS qualification
- You will be trained in General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry and will have experience working with people with acute mental health and leading multidisciplinary teams.
