Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have a great opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Acute Mixed Psychiatry to work within an established private hospital in Nottinghamshire.
 
Job Description:
This role is a full-time permanent position based in an established private hospital.
The acute service comprises of two adult mixed-gender wards providing a comfortable and calm atmosphere that promotes recovery and wellbeing. 
The hospital has two wards, consisting of two wards with 16 beds for patients who require support in an acute setting for their mental health needs and/or personality disorders. There may also be co-morbid issues such as substance misuse. 

Key responsibilities:
Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
Active role in service and development activities
Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
Taking clinical responsibility for patients
Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
Take part in medical related audits.

Job Requirements: 
Registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. 
Candidates must have a higher medical qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent).
  • CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry.
  • Approved Clinician status
  • Section 12 approval
