Description

A Senior Speech & Language Therapist is required for an exciting new opportunity in Kent.

As a member of a multidisciplinary clinical team, you will collaborate with educational and residential colleagues to establish therapeutic environments for living and learning. Drawing on clinical assessments and formulations, you will deliver personalised interventions and engagement strategies to our young individuals.

The Speech & Language Therapists work synergistically within educational settings and children’s homes, ensuring that therapeutic assistance permeates every aspect of our children and young people’s education, care, and support. You will offer consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to the educational and residential teams catering to our children.

Essential Requirements:

  • Are qualified Speech and Language Therapists registered with the HCPC.
  • Possess specialist skills and experience in delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Have experience supporting teams to create clinically informed living and learning environments for children and young people.
  • Demonstrate confidence, engagement, effectiveness, leadership, and training abilities.
  • Exhibit strong organisational skills and initiative, committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
