Private Residential Mental Health Service | Leicestershire AreaStaff Partners – Mental Health Division are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a brand-new, nurse-led residential mental health service in the Leicestershire area.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative service designed to support adults with enduring mental health conditions who no longer require hospital-level care. The 26-bed residential service provides a safe, therapeutic and homely environment with 24-hour skilled nursing and rehabilitative support.

The service offers a recovery-focused model of care within a calm and therapeutic setting. It is designed to promote independence, dignity and long-term wellbeing for adults with complex and enduring mental health needs.
???? The Role
As Deputy Manager (Deputy Ward Manager), you will play a key leadership role within the service, supporting the Ward Manager and wider multidisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as Senior Nurse to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for residents, families and visitors
Applying relevant policies and statutory requirements within a governance framework
Communicating regulatory and clinical standards clearly to the wider team
Ensuring risk is appropriately assessed and managed across the service
Promoting and role modelling diversity, inclusion and best practice
Supporting staff development and maintaining high standards of clinical care
This is a rewarding but dynamic role requiring resilience, strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for mental health care.
✅ What We’re Looking For
Valid NMC registration
Minimum 18 months – 2 years post-registration experience
Demonstrable clinical expertise within a mental health setting
Experience supporting or leading teams in a clinical environment
Strong understanding of governance, risk management and statutory requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
